With all the improvements in green energy technology, it is now simpler than ever to begin adapting your house into a green energy home. A green energy home makes use of renewable sources to supply hot water, power, heating and security.
There are a variety of methods to making your house a green energy home. The first is solar power. In your green energy home you could put in a solar heating system to heat and store water for use, and put in photovoltaic solar panels to convert the sun’s rays into power. If you bought and had these systems put in by a specialist they could be rather expensive. However, there are numerous resources and guides on the market to produce your own solar panel and hot water systems that are much more affordable.
If your house is still being built, a good way to turn it into a solar power house is to employ passive solar technology during construction. If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, this means making use of the south-facing sides of your house for heating and cooling. By putting in many light-efficient windows and heat regulating bricks on the south-facing side, these passive solar techniques help make your house into a green energy home.
Another method is making use of a windmill on your property. Windmills are driven by the wind to generate power and even pump water from an outside source. Wind turbines can be fixed on your rooftop or in your yard to produce clean electric power. Like solar panels, domestic windmills can be bought and installed commercially, but that costs a lot of money. So, in recent times a wide selection of affordable sets have been made put on the market for people to make their own wind turbines and install their own green energy home plans.
Another way to add effectiveness to your green energy home is to utilize a nearby stream and produce hydro-electric power. This is a fantastic pollution-free alternative that requires low maintenance and works as long as the stream is running.
The ultimate green energy home combines all of these renewable energy sources. By utilizing the power of the wind, water and sun to produce electricity you would enjoy not only massive savings and potential profits from your power consumption, but also largely reduces your carbon footprint. By combining solar heating systems and passive solar architecture into your green energy home, your need for power from traditional sources (fossil fuels) would cut down considerably and you would be living the renewable energy dream.
What’s nice is a green energy home does not require any more maintenance than conventional houses. Solar technologies need little maintenance and wind and water generators need only occasional oiling for optimal capability There is no better time than now to start your green energy home project and live a cleaner life off the grid.

Help answer the question about Green Energy
I am 42 and want to change careers to a green energy job such as a consultant, does any one have ideas?I am willing to train up to a year, but I am not sure which direction to go into. I am not an engineer but have scientific background. I think our economy is going in this direction and there will be opurtunities in the green energy area. Please let me know any area's of green energy carreers that is interesting and has decent salary with advancement? Thanks.

HI, I am a teacher who would like to use this video to show my students. However there is one slide at the end that says, “Im with stupid”. Is there any way you could send me another version of this without that last slide? I really would like to use it, its great. I know its a lot to ask, but I would greatly appreciate it
Coming from a person who’s only video is of them and some other dude miming to a bad viral song that everyones forgotten about
…too late =P
its already happened u old narrow-minded narcistic obtuse moron
I believe your idea of a resort is what I call a Eco-Village. Looking at your questions – I would think this is for a market research. If so, I encourage your to do a site search for ecovillage as well as have a look at the Global Ecovillage Network.
An eco-village is certainly something many in my community (including myself) are leaning towards. The current hold back for some is psychological, financial, or work obligations (often location-based). It may take an additional 3 to 5 years before we have 12 families seriously ready to make the switch.
Paying extra is not an issue, because the return value is far greater – money is note the determining factor in well-being. New green housing projects can cost 20% higher than conventional – and I don't see this as a setback.

Being Energy Positive generally understands you are feeding back into a grid (for the extra energy produced). Something to keep in mind if your resort is located far from developed or urban centers. Current positive energy or net-zero projects are generally dependent on the grid infrastructure (if not storing in inefficient and potentially poluting batteries), so if the grid goes down (power outage) so does your power. Note: you may have a backup that can last you a few days until the grid is back up….
You mention the resort separates residents from visitors. For resource efficiency and a more communal approach you may wish to consider having shared public spaces; Having shared public spaces reduces the need to built these spaces for each home, it builds the community relationships, and can develop jobs. Examples of shared spaces: community kitchen / restaurant, library/reading room, showers / bathrooms etc.
Oh no! the last sentence is cut off:( good story. In the beginning, I like how her mind just wanders from one thing to another. I'm jealous… her high school classes were only 45 minutes each, my classes were an hour and 15 minutes each… well it really good, but the part where you wrote "our father" it made it sound like you and your mom have the same father. Instead put "my father." I actually did like it, usually I can't get past the first couple sentences in the questions asking "Is my story good?" But this one get 2 thumbs up:)
You forgot to mention that Europe already pollutes alot less than the U.S per capita. all one has to do is go to Europe and check it out yourself. The fact remains that Europe is way ahead of the U.S on this. They have excellent rapid public transportation and a whole lot less cars on the road. And, their cars are much smaller and less gas hoggish than the U.S autos. It's obvious you haven't been to Europe, otherwise you'd know this already. they also have extensive programs of creating alternative energies such as wind, solar and geothermal. there's even wave energy being used in Spain. Please do your own research and don't rely on Republican government information from the Bush appointed offices. They are known to cook the books and hand out disinformation like it was candy.
BTW, cap and trade system is a well documented and known system to work and work very well at reducing carbon into the air. It's working in Europe and there are no painful experiences with European companies. Please research it yourself, it's working.
Escapehatchery you really need to get over yourself. They said man would never fly and guess what? we did.
shitty song
Another asswipe video from another imbecille.
Solar? Windfarms? Get a life already . . . it ain’t gonna happen . . . get over it.
It’s called arithimetic, ya fuckin dork!

consider the use of magnets as a supportive power source. Magnets strategically located around a drive line could reduce the need for fuel and help speed reduction by revering polarity.
Of coarse the haters have always been there. We can't even get a consensus from our closest ally, the British. I suppose we will just need to live with it.
It became a national disgrace when the Clintons took office. These two people are not healers by any stretch of the imagination. These are, not one, but two lightning rods that galvanize the American public. If anybody can drive a stake into the American phyche quicker, it would be Hillary's alter ego, Rahm Emanuel., and she hangs on his every word.
In my humble opinion, it appears this information is geared towards those who could care less about "Faith".
It is important to "know your potential audience" so one can answer questions intelligently.
1] Did I intrude into your life or did you place the question on
yahoo?
2] Perhaps it could be better stated: "please put yourself in the other person's shoes".
People who think differently can still be friends.
We need more of this.
I didn't get past the first sentence. If you want anyone to take you seriously. Grow up a little.
Yes, it does drag on and on. Nothing really happens. It is very dull. It sounds to me like a carbon copy of about ten million people's lives. Nothing unusual or appealing about it whatsoever. How is this unique at all? It's just a laundry list of an ordinary person's ordinary day. Pax-C
